Ed Viesturs on ‘The Colbert Report’

It looks like Ed Viesturs, climbing legend, made an appearance on ‘The Colbert Report‘ to promote his book “No Shortcuts to the Top.”

Ed on ColbertEd, for those of you who may not know, is one of the few people (and even fewer Americans) who has climbed all 14 of the worlds 8000 meter peaks, and even fewer who’ve done it without the use of supplemental oxygen. Oh, and you know that little mountain called Everest? Yeah, he’s been to the top of it about 6 times.

I didn’t catch the episode on TV, but had a good laugh when I watched it online. Ed was able to keep up with Colbert (which is more than many others can say) and did really well.

Here I thought I was on a roll with 50! I guess I’ve got more writing to do.
